Un día en la Casa de Campo

Casa de Campo is a very romantic name for one of the biggest urban parks in Madrid. Situated on the western border of the city, Casa de Campo or Country House is home to the Madrid Zoo as well as the amusement park or Parque de Atracciones.

For both these attractions you will have to spend a whole day to fully enjoy them. Although on the outskirts of the town, Casa de Campo is easy to reach from the town centre by tube, stopping at  Casa de Campo or Lago.

The zoo is one of the biggest in Europe and even has an aquarium where you and your whole family will be able to enjoy seeing dolphins and other aquatic animals performing. read full article

De paseo junto a la Gran Vía

The Gran Vía is famous in Madrid for many reasons, the main one is maybe that it is one of the main arteries in the centre of Madrid. However, Gran Vía is also the area with the highest concentration of cinemas and theatres in Madrid.

You can start in Callao, and then go down Gran Vía towards Plaza de España, Plaza de Callao also has its own cinema and one of the best sandwich cafés in Madrid, Rodilla. This home grown sandwich chain serves really different sandwiches with creative and delicious fillings. read full article

Restaurantes famosos en el centro de Madrid

El ballet “Samsara”, en los Teatros del Canal

It is a great and perfect show, a complete menu for dance lovers. The Teatros del Canal will be the stage chosen between the 27th of October to the 6th of November for the show “Samsara”, an original, innovative and bold choreography of the Comunidad de Madrid’s ballet by Victor Ullate.

The performances will take place from Tuesday to Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays there will be two shows at 12pm and 6pm. read full article
