Parque Warner Madrid is a great place to visit all year round, situated just outside Madrid on the Carretera N-IV, km 22 in San Martin de la Vega, you can reach the park by car, or train from Atocha Train Station or bus from the bus station at Villaverde Bajo.

This Christmas Warner Park Madrid are making of Christmas a reality, in their own words, with the various activities they have prepared for this festive period. Until the end of December all the lovely characters from Warner cartoons will come to life to welcome you into the park and introduce you to all the musical shows and Christmas activities for the whole family. Some of the shows and activities will include Christmas carols, lights and fabulous decorations.

Your children will be able to deliver their letters to Santa and the Three Wise Men, before you take them to enjoy a nice meal in one of the many restaurants or just shopping in the many shops and boutiques.

The park closes at 8pm and opens at 12pm. Price for people over 120cm is 39 Euros and under 120cm or taller but senior citizen (over 60) is 30 Euros. Those children who haven’t reached yet 90cm go for free, but they have to accompany an adult.

So, don’t delay book your ticket now, remember you can get to Parque Warner by train from Atocha, not far from the Hotel Victoria 4.

The museum started as the private collection of Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza, but has developed as one of the main attractions in the city of Madrid.

This autumn the museum, as part of its programme of temporary exhibitions will present the exhibition Microsites in Madrid. The works exhibited cover the period between the 14th and the 18th century, they are pictorial representations of buildings and architectonic wonders from across the world.

The exhibition will show visitors the evolution of this art form throughout the centuries as well as the different nuances and differences in the style.

Along with this exhibition, visitors will also have the chance to admire the Russian paintings of the Thyssen’s collection. The vanguard of soviet painters will be represented in the rooms of the Thyssen-Bornemiza’s museum until the 26th of December 2011. Visitors to the museum will have the chance to learn about these soviet artists of the early 20th century through 35 paintings exhibited in the museum.

Ticket prices are 8 Euros for the general exhibition or 8 Euros for a temporal one, or 13 Euros the combined ticket for a temporal exhibition and the permanent one.

The performances will take place from Tuesday to Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays there will be two shows at 12pm and 6pm.

Ticket prices are between 14 Euros for the cheapest one to 28 Euros for the most expensive one.

It is an intimate and personal show by Victor Ullate himself. This dancer from Zaragoza thought of this show while lying on a table in an operating theatre. During that stressing time of his life, his mind flew off to faraway places and different cultures like that of Nepal, China, Japan, Iran, India or Egypt.

The dancers perform against the background of different ethnic musical pieces. For over 90 minutes different atmospheres and places that are unknown for your regular Westerner come to life on stage.
