Antonio López expone en el Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza

Antonio Lopez is one of the most sought after artists in the world. His artwork is worthmillions for its quality and because he is one of the pioneers of realism in Madrid. Now much of his work can be seen in the  Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, which opened this brilliant exhibition on 26 June that will stay open until September 25, 2011.

This magnificent art gallery can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00. The museum is closed Mondays.

The ticket price varies greatly depending on the type of collection you want to visit. To view the permanent collection the general rate is 8 Euros (can be bought online for 7 Euros) and the cheapest one is 5.5 Euros.

The entrance fee for the temporary exhibitions is 8 Euros, online tickets can be bought at 7 Euros and  reduced tickets are 5.50 Euros. There is also the possibility of purchasing a combined ticket that will give you access to absolutely all exhibitions at a price of 13 Euros (12 Euros online), and 7.50 Euros for reduced tickets.

Madrid urban views shaped by Antonio Lopez are pure art. His realism is so magical and so creative, that you have to get an inch close to his canvases to make sure that it is not a photograph but a painting.
