Los Black Eyed Peas aterrizan en el Vicente Calderón

The Vicente Calderon stadium will change its usual stripy appearance as the Atletico de Madrid home tiding away temporally footballs and red and white shirts. The occasion calls for it. On Thursday, July 14, 2011 the Atletico Madrid’s stadium, Vicente Calderon will host a concert by one of the most important dance groups on the international scene: Black Eyed Peas.

The event will begin at 10 pm and tickets can be purchased from 40 Euros. Located in Paseo Virgen del Puerto, number 67, the easiest way to get to the Vicente Calderon is by the Metro underground travel network, using Line 5 and getting off at Pirámides.

The Californian band will stop in the Spanish capital to present their latest work, entitled The Beginning, released in 2010.

The versatile Stacy Ann Ferguson, nicknamed Fergie, is the vocalist, dancer, composer and costume designer and she also shines on stage. With her, the band has taken a major leap in quality following the departure of former singer Kim Hill.

In The Beginning, the BEPs are still going for a more modern sound of dance in a show full of music, sound, dance and colour that explains why this group has earned the loyalty of millions of fans around the world.
