From 28 June to 6 July, the LGTBIQ+ Pride Festivities will once again fill the streets with colour, music and activism. As the birthplace of Madrid’s LGTBIQ+ movement, it becomes even more alive during these dates, with activities in local venues, terraces, and streets under the banner of Chueca's Pride, starting on 28 June. In 2025, the city also marks “20 years of love”, celebrating two decades of equal marriage in Spain — a powerful reason to join this momentous event that honours the progress made and reminds us of what still lies ahead.
